Tradify, Fergus and Powered Now all target trade businesses, but their current UK pricing structures and feature emphasis differ. This comparison uses provider-published information checked in August 2026. Prices and features can change, so confirm them with the provider before purchasing.
Current UK pricing snapshot
Tradify currently lists Lite at £34 per user/month, Pro at £37 and Plus at £44, with a 14-day free trial. Fergus lists Essentials from £39/month and Professional from £45/month, with timesheet users from £12/month and a 14-day trial. Powered Now currently lists Professional at £320/year and Premium at £400/year; its pricing page states pricing is per user and excludes VAT.
Tradify: broad trade workflow and accounting integrations
Tradify’s published UK feature set covers enquiries, quoting, scheduling, job tracking, invoicing, payments, timesheets, subcontractor scheduling, certificates and integrations with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online. Higher plans add functions such as service reminders, purchase orders, bulk invoicing and additional reporting tools.
Fergus: job control with clear team options
Fergus publishes features including quoting and estimating, job cards, GPS tracking, timesheets, calendar, materials, recurring jobs, checklists, forms, enquiry management and mobile access. Its UK pricing distinguishes full plans from lower-cost timesheet users and also lists contractor users separately, which may matter when modelling the cost of a larger field team.
Powered Now: annual pricing and trade administration
Powered Now’s published plans include job tracking, customer management, expense tracking, Making Tax Digital functions, supplier invoices and purchase orders. Professional adds forms and certificates, VAT returns, Xero integration and team functions; Premium adds features including customer portal access, automatic invoice and quote chasing, staff scheduling and appointment reminders.
Which should you shortlist?
Do not choose from headline price alone. Build a shortlist around the workflow that costs your business the most time: enquiries and quoting, engineer scheduling, job costing, certificates, subcontractors, invoicing, accounting integration or customer follow-up. Then test those exact tasks during each provider’s trial or demonstration. A cheaper plan that forces duplicate administration can cost more in practice than a higher-priced system that removes it.
TradeWise methodology
TradeWise separates provider-published facts from editorial judgement. We compare products against practical trade-business workflows and verify time-sensitive commercial details against provider sources before publication. If TradeWise later earns a referral commission from a provider, that relationship will be disclosed and will not determine the comparison criteria.
